Quebec is a Canadian Provence that holds many amazing cities. All altogether great place to vacation, Quebec has much to offer. However, Montreal, the cultural hub of the Provence, is slightly more appealing than Quebec City, the capital and governmental hub of Quebec. So, if you're looking to take a vacation to Quebec, I'd recommend cultural Montreal over business-oriented Quebec City. Just don't forget that you will need a passport or passport card in order to travel to Montreal. While this generally is one of the more frustrating parts of traveling, it has recently undergone a change. You can now go online to get passports, so applying for your passport is easier than ever.

Online passport service is efficient, fast, reliable, and secure. Honestly, it almost seems like there has to be a catch, but they really completely true to their word. When you apply for your passport, you set a definite date for your passport to arrive by, anywhere from 24 hours to two weeks. Next day passport service means you can be on your way to any place in the world in just one day.

One of the best qualities of Montreal is the clean air and well-maintained parks. Square Saint-Louis, Parc du Mont-Royal, and Parc Maisonneuve are some of the most well known parks in Canada, and they're all located in Montreal. Biking and walking are excellent ways to explore, but during the winter you are able to ice skate as well. In addition, you can go kayaking or partake in other water sports during the summer.

Montreal has world famous festivals, and attending some is an awesome way to become introduced to what Montreal is all about. One festival, called the Just For Laughs Festival, revolves around simply having fun and laughing. The Shakespeare-in-the-Park Festival involves free readings of Shakespeare's plays, and it takes place every year. If you are someone who enjoys a nice cold bear, be sure to not miss the Festival Modiale de la bier, a festival that features beer and ale from all around the world. In fact, one year featured 340 different types of beer from 130 different countries. Film and music festivals are important too. The World Film Festival, The Montreal International Jazz Festival, Pop Montreal International Music Festival, and Festival du nouveau cinema de Montreal are some of the most popular.

Of course there are the standard things and places you have to see in order to get a full view of Montreal. For example, Griffintown is a place full of history. Suddenly, you are sent back to a time where the Montreal seafaring culture was all there was where Montreal stands today. While tradition and history is definitely within reach in Griffintown, there is still plenty of modern influences. There are tons of trendy antique shops and hip art galleries located around town.

Among these must-see places is Habitat 67. This is a specially-designed residence building that resembles building blocks. They were made in order to provide the most amount of living space in the least amount of room. Also, don't forget to see a hockey game, something that Canadians take very seriously. The Montreal Canadians are the local Montreal team, so be sure to root for them. L'Oratoire St.-Joseph du Mont-Royal is a stunning ancient chapel, and it holds an atmosphere of spirituality. If you're lucky enough to be walking by during a choral performance, you are sure to get goosebumps.

Of course, there is so much more to see in Montreal. Just be sure to remember that you will need passports. Don't forget that you are able to go online to apply for a replacement passport or apply for a next day passport. These stress-free services are there to give you convenience and peace of mind, and once everything is settled, you're good to go.
